ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ASSISTANT

The Administrative Services Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business services. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to various departments, and facilitating effective communication and coordination among team members. By streamlining administrative processes, the assistant will help enhance productivity and improve service delivery to our clients. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting the strategic goals of the organization and fostering a collaborative work environment.

This is an in-office position and requires the candidate to report to our Hartford, CT location.

This position starts at $17 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Process all incoming mail daily.
  • Fulfill and ship product orders.
  • Maintain and document inventory of product for resale, breakroom and office supplies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as needed.
  • Assist in coordinating office activities and events to foster team engagement.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role.
  • Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on professionalism, clarity, and consistency.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and time-sensitive functions.
  • Experience with office software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
