Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst will play a key role in developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs within the firm. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of compensation structures, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices. This role will assist leadership in aligning compensation strategies with business objectives, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing strategic insights to drive talent acquisition and retention.

 

Primary Responsibilities

·         Conduct comprehensive compensation analysis, including base salary, bonus, and equity compensation for various roles within the firm. Benchmark internal and external pay practices to ensure competitiveness.

·         Perform market surveys and analyze compensation trends to ensure our pay practices align with industry standards and support our talent acquisition goals.

·         Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of incentive and compensation plans, including bonus structures, equity programs, and long-term incentives.

·         Support the year-end compensation planning process.

·         Prepare and analyze compensation-related reports for leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with compensation regulations and internal policies.

·         Provide compensation guidance and recommendations to HR business partners, leadership, and other departments on matters such as salary structures, promotions, and internal equity.

·         Prepare compensation education materials for employees and/or managers.

·         Support compensation budgeting and forecasting processes to align compensation spend with organizational goals.

·         Lead the compensation module implementation as part of the HCM system rollout, including configuring compensation structures, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with business needs.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR function, with a focus on finance services or corporate environments.

·         CCP or similar designation preferred.

·         Strong knowledge of compensation principles, regulations, and best practices.

·         Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate complex data sets and create insightful reports.

·         Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments and with senior leadership.

·         Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

·         Bachelor’s degree.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $100,000 - $125,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
