Job Description

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Business Development Representative, Travel to help us attract and business develop into new clients across industries in the region. This individual should be hardworking, understands the urgency of a start-up, and takes pride in the ownership of their tasks while collaborating in a team setting. The Business Development Representative, Travel will report directly to the Sales Manager, Travel.

  • Outbound research and prospecting for sales contacts via emails, phone calls, LinkedIn, etc. 
  • Identifying new markets and qualifying potential opportunities to expand the team’s pipeline
  • Conducting presentations and product demonstrations to interested leads
  • Managing inbound leads to accelerate sales
  • Assisting with the preparation and execution of sales events and marketing initiatives

Qualifications

Here’s What We’re Looking For: 

  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills 
  • Preferably has experience in lead generation, cold calling, sales development, process automation or data analytics
  • Take initiative to make contact with potential leads to generate interest in our solution
  • Familiarity with CRM applications and Excel (Salesforce preferred)
  • Fresh graduates to individuals with up to 2 years of client-facing experience.
  • Passion for transitioning into tech sales
  • International experience or language skills relevant to the markets we operate in, such as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Australia, New Zealand, or South Korea
