The role / Position overview
At FT Specialist, we aspire to deliver must-have content that helps people do their jobs better and sits at the heart of our customers’ success.

We are looking for a Paid Media Manager to plan, implement, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels. This role is responsible for driving customer acquisition, improving campaign return on investment, and scaling performance marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is analytical, meticulous, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies to achieve business goals
  • Conduct audience research and segmentation to advise targeting and messaging
  • Create and manage budgets across multiple campaigns and platforms

Campaign Execution and Optimization

  • Manage campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Google Ads and other emerging channels
  • Perform ongoing bid adjustments, keyword optimization, and audience targeting
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing for ad creatives, messaging, and landing pages

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, including CPC, CPA, ROAS, and CLV
  • Use analytics tools to generate insights and advise strategy
  • Provide regular performance reports and actionable recommendations to partners

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing and design teams to develop compelling ad visuals and copy
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with multichannel strategies and promotions
  • Partner with the data intelligence team on reporting to refine attribution models and optimize budget allocation

Staying Current

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging advertising technologies
  • Experiment with new platforms and ad formats to stay ahead of the competition

Required skills / experience

  • 5+ years proven experience managing paid media campaigns, preferably in performance marketing or digital advertising
  • Proficiency in platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Meta Ads Manager
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience in managing campaigns for specific industries (e.g., B2B services)
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising or native ad platforms
  • Strong analytical demeanor with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities

Further information
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $85,000–$95,000. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skill set; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organisational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations.
