Key Responsibilities

• Counsel uninsured and under-insured patients to obtain funding sources for medical services
• Explain financial options and obligations during counseling sessions with patients
• Assist patients with applications and communicate complex coverage enrollment information effectively

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a financial counselor or relevant healthcare experience is a plus
• Understanding of Medicaid and other funding programs
• Commitment to assisting patients with compassion
• Ability to navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
