Federal Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Federal Estimator - Construction, Environmental, Munitions Response, Fuels.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure timely completion of all estimates assigned by the estimating department
• Maintain files of current estimates, unit price information, and market conditions
• Evaluate construction bids for completeness and accuracy, making recommendations for contract awards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 10 to 12 years of related experience
• At least 8 years of experience estimating federal and commercial projects
• Certifications such as Certified Cost Engineer or Certified Construction Estimator are desirable
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to interpret design drawings
• Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
