The ideal candidate for this position must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated while also taking direction from management.  Also required are excellent oral/written communication skills and a proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels.  Our work environemnt is team oriented and very fast paced, therefore a strong candidate must have excellent organizational and time manaement skill in addition to a professional attitude that exemplities the Expeditors culuture.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable – Collection to all the branches customers
• Email, call or review online payment status of all invoices over approved terms.
• Deposit process completed for the remit team to post.
• Complete all requirements for all incoming wires/ACH payments for the remit team to post.
• Reconcile and resolve problem invoices.
• Build key relationships with customers – A/P dept to quickly resolve invoice issues.
• Complete weekly invoice recaps for various customers
• Support Accounting Department with miscellaneous projects and assignments
• Ensure communication with local branches

• Bachelor or associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Good accounting knowledge
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active approach, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
• Fluent in English

Expected base salary: $21/hr. to $24/hr.

*Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday
