Job Description

WHAT DOES THE MANAGER, MEDIA OPERATIONS DO?

The Media Operations Manager is part of the Media Department and will partner with our Media Finance team, along with the strategic media planning teams across one portfolio of multiple brands, to approve and reconcile media out of pocket spend. They will work closely with our Media Planning to start with a goal of developing a system to extend into the Paid Search, Programmatic and Paid Social channels. The Media Operations Manager will approve all display media invoices and reconcile each month, track approved media SOWs and ATB (Authorizations to Buy) for each campaign. The Media Operations Manager will be asked to attend monthly meetings between media brand teams and media finance to ensure media finance tracking is correct with all parties.  

The Media Operations Manager will manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and will meticulously organize and keep media finance tasks moving forward.  

The ideal candidate is someone with vast media finance experience across channels, is well-versed in Media finance processes, experience in Media Ocean and a desire to help evolve this role and help create a team that can support the Intouch Media Team from a financial perspective.   

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies or Communications 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media finance or managing medium-to-large scale media campaigns (both digital and non-digital)  
  • Strong experience with Media Ocean  
  • Exceptional knowledge of media buying process 
  • Experience communicating with key senior stakeholders including internal teams and agency partners 
  • Can lead meetings and connect dots between deliverables and client communications 
  • Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and assess risk 
  • Professional maturity, ability to keep calm and filter issues in a positive, professional way 
  • Strong time management skills  
  • Strong personal organization 
  • Strong decision making and facilitation skills  
  • Ability to foster and drive collaboration 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in the life sciences or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with global markets and cultural nuances in media planning and buying.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $97,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). More information about EVERSANA’s benefits package can be found at eversana.com/careers.
