Data Platform Engineer
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Salary: €3,000.00 - €3,800.00 per month
Hybrid working - Tuesdays & Thursdays in the office.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you’ll help design and implement data-centric business solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability of our platforms.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and implementing data solutions to automate manual processes and optimise data delivery.
- Managing and enhancing data systems, pipelines, and storage solutions to meet business needs.
- Ensuring all solutions are cost-effective, high-performing, secure, and scalable.
- Monitoring and maintaining the health of data systems, responding to critical incidents as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and researchers, to deliver data-driven projects.
- Contributing to and promoting best practices for data manipulation, workflows, and solution design.
- Documenting processes and solutions to support compliance and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Training and mentoring team members to build skills and foster collaboration.
We expect you to:
- Have experience in SQL (T-SQL) programming and data integration tools like ADF/SSIS.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Azure Data Services and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Understand data storage systems (RDBMS/NoSQL) and data formats (JSON/XML).
- Have experience with infrastructure-as-code scripting (e.g., ARM Templates, PowerShell, Bash).
- Be familiar with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Demonstrate fundamental programming skills and a commitment to Agile methodologies.
- Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to present solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Hold certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- Additional certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps or similar tools.
