Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager, Query Engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 engineers, supporting their technical success and career development
• Plan and deliver high-quality solutions focused on query performance and reliability
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to shape the team's roadmap and ensure cross-team integration

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in software engineering teams
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience in platform and database technologies
• Strong experience with systems programming languages, preferably Rust or C++
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and performance optimization
• Proven ability to manage remote, globally distributed teams effectively
