Patient Care Technician / PCT / Labor & Delivery

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Emory Healthcare, your primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting registered nurses and LPNs, maintaining patient safety, managing hygiene and comfort needs, and supporting emergency response tasks. You'll be involved in cleaning patient rooms, operating clinical equipment, collecting specimens, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, all aimed at enhancing patient experiences in a nurturing environment.

Additionally, you must have a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and meet at least one of the following criteria: one year of direct patient care experience, completion of a nursing assistant training course, or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Georgia. As a full-time Patient Care Technician at Emory Healthcare in Decatur, you will work a 36-hour week with shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm.
