Position Summary
We are looking for someone to join the Integrated Marketing Communications team at e.l.f. as the PR Intern supporting press, influencer, events, experiential and social strategies in the UK. The ideal candidate will love all things beauty and keep their finger on the pulse of what is up and coming, and trending in beauty and social. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive and creative to help us be at the forefront of marketing - setting trends, not following.
This person will support the team in the creation and implementation of integrated plans that significantly accelerate brand reach, EMV and drive brand growth ambitions. This role will work with multiple departments to build strategic product launches across all e.l.f. channels for seamless campaigns to drive an elevated brand presence.
Responsibilities
· Support with the planning and delivery of PR activity, experiential and influencer content in the UK
· Assist the team with executing new campaign launches cross-functionally to deliver all assets on time, on budget and on strategy
· Develop and execute unique content ideas and touchpoints for new product, brand and category campaigns
· Collaborate with internal teams to determine product focus for each campaign and ensure messaging & programming meet our KPI’s
· Help the IMC Coordinator organize and manage the marketing calendar
· Support the IMC Manager by monitoring and analysing new product and campaign launches, tracking business results and determining opportunities to optimize moving forward
· Build relationships with influencer agencies and third-party partners to help ensure best-practice, brand-first campaigns
· Brainstorm and execute new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns and stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, publishers and influencers
· Track and synthesize ongoing trends in influencer marketing, PR and beauty social to help position us to make sure we are developing cutting edge strategies
· Research, listen, and understand the rhythm of different types of consumers and consumer behaviour.
· Raise and track POs, and gain experience with managing budgets
Requirements
· Studying a degree, ideally in business, marketing or a related field.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong interest in the beauty industry and current trends.
· Strong numeracy and computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint).
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Interest in the beauty influencer landscape and a keen eye for visually appealing and engaging social media content.
