Senior Associate, Finance & Strategy - Gross Fees
About the Team
We’re looking to expand our Finance & Strategy team in Mexico City (Remote). Our Finance team accelerates the growth of our business by implementing new opportunities and solutions. We partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of our business model. We’re looking for people who can model the future, and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in one of DoorDash’s fastest-growing business lines: Ads & Promos. As a Senior Strategic Finance Associate, you will partner with cross-functional leadership to shape both short-term and long-term strategies that drive business growth. You’ll have a direct impact on capital allocation decisions, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to maximize returns.

- Work with partners to develop new processes and investment frameworks
- Work to increase our approach to balancing growth vs. profitability
- Identify and measure important risks and opportunities in our business
- Analyze business/financial measurements, uncover trends and assess current/future business risks and opportunities
We’re excited about you because…
- 4+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English and Spanish
- Ability to influence cross functional partners at all levels
- Experience managing budgets for various teams
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by F&S teams throughout the company
- Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn)
