Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads the strategic direction and execution of the Underwriting Practices function, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements
• Manages and mentors team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Owns the enterprise-level portfolio of underwriting initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable business value

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in P&C Personal Lines insurance underwriting or related fields
• 5+ years in people leadership, including managing high-performing teams
• Proven track record of setting functional vision and translating it into actionable strategies
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business or related field preferred
• Extensive experience leading enterprise-level, cross-functional initiatives
