Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Monetization.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide engineering strategy and execution across Monetization teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
• Translate technical concepts for GTM partners and engage in strategic discussions around pricing and monetization
• Manage and mentor senior leaders, cultivate high-performing teams, and oversee the hiring strategy for top talent

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including 3+ years leading managers or multiple teams
• Strong architectural understanding of billing platforms and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience defining monetization strategies and understanding business metrics like ARR, NRR, and ACV
• Experience operating a usage-based billing model at scale
• Prior experience at a product-led SaaS or DevTools company is a plus
