Vice President of Ticketing, Sales & Service

JOB SUMMARY: The Denver Broncos Football Club is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Ticketing Sales & Service to lead the organization’s ticket revenue generation and service efforts. The VP of Ticketing Sales & Service is responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing the activities of season ticket renewals, ticketing operations, and premium sales and service aligned with Denver Broncos’ mission and core values: Growth and Innovation Mindset, Grit and Resiliency, Strive for Excellence, Do the Right Thing, and Accountability and Financial Discipline.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ticketing Strategy and Leadership
    • Develop comprehensive Ticketing strategy and annual sales, revenue, operations, staffing, and compensation plans to achieve ambitious targets
    • Align all Ticketing department initiatives with organizational objectives and the Denver Broncos’ core values
    • Identify key industry trends and data to provide insights to the executive team
    • Develop and manage department budgets with a focus on fiscal responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation
    • Create a high-performance sales culture, set ambitious goals, monitor progress, and evaluate results to ensure success
    • Identify and seize business development opportunities to maximize revenue across Suite, Club and GA Ticketing products (new sales and renewals)
    • Develop and lead core sales & renewals processes (e.g., pricing, pipeline management)
  • Member Service Delivery
    • Create a leading Ticketing Service strategy and platform to deliver unparalleled member experience throughout the year
    • Develop a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery across all Ticketing products (Suite, Club, GA)
    • Establish and implement leading service policies, SOPs, and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
  • Ticket Operations
    • Ensure transparent, efficient and accurate Ticketing operations processes and systems and ensure compliance with NFL ticketing requirements
    • Implement effective Ticketing technology tools and automated processes to enhance staff efficiency and effectiveness
  • People Leadership
    • Build and lead a high-performing Ticketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration
    • Create and manage staff training and career development plans
    • Define and communicate the sales & service timeline and sales cycle effectively
  • Collaboration and Organizational Leadership
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align Ticketing initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
    • Lead special projects and ticket product innovation to stay ahead of industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry with a track record of ticketing sales, managing multi-faceted ticket sales operations, and customer service experience preferred
  • Proven leadership skills successfully leading, developing, and managing a sales team
  • Demonstrated success at developing and implementing integrated sales strategies which deliver results in alignment with overall business objectives
  • Great understanding of business functions (e.g., operations, sales, customer service, finance)
  • Extensive understanding of the latest in ticket technology, including online account management and digital tickets (mobile, print at home, etc.)
  • Proficient in the use of computerized ticketing software (Archtics, TM Host, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills along with an ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrate uncompromised judgement and discretion
  • Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, self-motivated and solutions oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work all home Broncos games, other stadium events, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule
  • Some travel required

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $184,000 - $262,000. Salary based on assessment of qualifications.
