Paralegal - Discovery Specialist

Denham Property & Injury Law Firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Discovery focused Paralegal to join our Lexington office. If you are organized, efficient, and ready to support a dynamic litigation team, we welcome your application. Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents including, primarily document collection and responding to discovery 
  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant case materials 
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital case files 
  • Prepare and file legal documents 
  • Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters 
  • Occasionally schedule meetings, court hearings, depositions, and mediations 
  • Communicate with clients 
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the firm’s case management system 
  • Proofread and format legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness 
  • Transcribe dictated notes and summarize meetings or client interviews 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Prior experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role preferred – especially discovery experience 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Familiarity with legal research platforms and document management systems is a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment
