Denham Property & Injury Law Firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Discovery focused Paralegal to join our Lexington office. Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents including, primarily document collection and responding to discovery
- Conduct legal research and compile relevant case materials
- Organize and maintain physical and digital case files
- Prepare and file legal documents
- Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Occasionally schedule meetings, court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the firm’s case management system
- Proofread and format legal documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Transcribe dictated notes and summarize meetings or client interviews
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role preferred – especially discovery experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with legal research platforms and document management systems is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment
