Warehouse/Shop Technician

The Warehouse / Shop Technician uses carpentry skills for window trim installation and mulling windows together. This role also involves various warehouse-related tasks as needed. The position is 70% warehouse associate and 30% shop technician.

Primary Duties:

·     Apply and install Brickmould trim to windows.

·     Mull windows together by joining them using various materials.

·     Fabricating arch trims from Breckenridge plywood for metal flashing.

·     Perform minor window repairs.

·     Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials to job sites (site runs).

Additional Duties:

·     Perform various warehouse-related tasks and projects.

·     Other duties as assigned. 

Qualification, Education & Experience:

Required:

·     Ability to communication clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing).

·       Strong measuring and cutting skills with accuracy.

·       Familiarity with light construction and carpentry materials.

·       Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred:

·       Two or more years of warehouse experience.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

·       Ability to become forklift certified.

·       Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail.

·       Professional attitude and demeanor.

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

Physical requirements & working conditions:

·       Ability to lift 50-70 lbs., repeatedly without assistance.

·       Perform physically demanding tasks related to construction and warehouse activities.

- Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm.
