Plan and execute database backups, disaster recovery procedures, and failover mechanisms to ensure data availability
Monitor database systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and data inconsistencies
Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2 years of experience
Proven experience as a Database Administrator managing enterprise-level databases
Strong proficiency in database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning
Familiarity with AWS RDS features and SQL Server Availability Groups
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
