Front-End Engineer – GOP Firm

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the discovery, design, and development of AI-enhanced, user-centric front-end solutions that improve engagement and streamline workflows. 
  • Guide project scope, technology selection, and implementation strategies for both traditional front-end development and AI-powered enhancements. 
  • Ensure front-end initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and exceed performance expectations, including managing external partnerships. 
  • Build and enhance proprietary platforms through regular updates that improve features, stability, performance, and security. 
  • Use Figma(or similar solutions) to create and maintain comprehensive design asset libraries and UI mockups, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to development. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, then design and implement new features that enhance usability and effectiveness. 
  •  Conduct code reviews, manage technical debt, and enforce best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability. 
  • Regularly update project management tools (JIRA), feature roadmaps, and Git repositories to communicate progress and priorities. 


Required Qualifications
  • Must be based in Arlington, VA. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. 
  • Ability to execute tasks quickly, efficiently, and accurately. 
  • Willing to ask questions, challenge processes, and provide valuable input. 
  • Driven to achieve results with efficiency and focus. 


Required Skills
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), with a strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility. 
  • Front-End Frameworks – Experience with React.js (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular, including hooks, component architecture, and performance optimizations. 
  • State Management – Familiarity with Redux, Recoil, Zustand, or Context API. 
  • AI-Driven Development – Experience integrating AI-powered features like chatbots, recommendation systems, autonomous agents, or predictive UI elements. 
  • API Integration – Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL, particularly in AI-driven applications. 
  • Data Visualization – Experience using D3.js, Chart.js, or similar libraries to present AI-generated insights. 
  • Project & Code Management – Proficiency with JIRA for sprint tracking and issue management, along with experience in code reviews 
  • Security Best Practices – Understanding of XSS prevention, CSRF protection, and secure authentication methods. 
  • Ability to write clear documentation and maintain a structured, scalable codebase. 


Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
  • AI APIs – Familiarity with OpenAI API, Microsoft Azure AI, or similar AI services. 
  • Cloud Services – Basic knowledge of Snowflake, Microsoft Azure,AWSand/or Firebase.
