Title: Director, Marketing Hemp

Location: Stamford CT, 

Job Type: Full Time - Exempt 

About the Role:  

The Director of Marketing will be the primary person to develop and execute B2C marketing programs to support existing and new product launches while driving volume and profit objectives through ecommerce and direct-to-consumer touchpoints. They will serve as the primary point of contact for brand-based CRM and Rewards for Select and our ecommerce merch stores. They will work in close partnership with the Hemp leadership, sales & marketing partners, Commercialization team, Curaleaf brand & marketing teams, contractors, and agencies.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Set strategy and manage Curaleaf Hemp B2C marketing campaigns & materials from concept to launch. 
  • Set strategy and manage CRM marketing campaigns for Hemp, Select, and ecommerce merch stores including lifecycle journeys, promotional messaging, and other programming. 
  • Ensure seamless integration between brand strategy, e-commerce execution, and retail expansion.
  • Develop and execute a omni-channel marketing strategy aligned with business objectives for both DTC and retail growth. 
  • Manage Rewards program for Hemp, Select, and ecommerce merch stores
  • Manage social media campaigns for Hemp. Contribute to social media and content calendars by managing the production of interesting and shareable content, such as blog articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, etc.
  • Track relevant metrics using analytics tools, monitor KPIs, and report to senior management on campaign effectiveness
  • Coordinate with outside agencies as required
  • Periodic travel is required for team meetings
  • Carry out supervisor responsibilities that include training employees and assisting with planning, assigning, and directing work and coaching employees.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


    
What You’ll Bring:

  • 8 -12+ years of experience in Consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and Marketing, ideally in Cannabis and/or Hemp.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of independence and resilience.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to manage project timelines and cross functional teams with excellence in execution with strong attention to details.
  • Strong analytical skills in using data to make sound recommendations affecting business decisions and results.
  • Strong financial acumen and business negotiation skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
  • Strategic thinking skills and proven experience generating original ideas.
  • Excellent written communication skills and solid presentation skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities.
  • Good foundation of CPG and marketing know-how, and an understanding of marketing mix (product, positioning, packaging, pricing, promotion and distribution)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

 

Connecticut Hiring Range
$165,000$180,000 USD
