Back-end Software Engineer

ChainCargo is looking for an experienced Back-end Software Engineer to join our self-steering DevOps team in Eindhoven.

Our main product is a web-based application running in the Azure cloud and our system consists of multiple MicroServices which are orchestrated using Kubernetes. In our team we are working in a DevOps culture where we are responsible for creating, maintaining and deploying our products.

To be successful, we rely on good communication, taking initiative and responsibility. Our team goal: “Deliver high quality, scalable software with a low lead time developed in a self-steering team”.

In this role, you are responsible for creating, maintaining, testing and debugging the back-end and making sure that the data requested by the front-end or other clients is delivered. With a good understanding of the infrastructure and databases, you are able to keep the platform up and running.

Your main tasks:

• Collaborating to maintain the back-end functionality of our platform.
• Creating and implementing software designs.
• Creating, integrating and managing databases.
• Collaborating with other developers to ensure that the website and app design work.
• Implementing security and data protection for the platform.
• Ensuring that updates, deployments are delivered effectively within the agreed deadlines.

Who are you?

• You have at least a Bachelor’s degree.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in .NET core programming.
• You have experience in Microservice Architecture.
• You have experience in Tested Driven development (TDD) and in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
