Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist applicants in submitting documentation for initial and re-credentialing applications
  • Maintain an accurate physician database and perform daily data entry
  • Communicate with applicants and RHMs to fulfill credentialing criteria within specified timeframes
Required Qualifications
  • Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; an associate degree in health administration is preferred
  • One year of work experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of hospital settings and managed care organizations
  • Understanding of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, and hospital policies
  • Experience with database organization and management, as well as proficiency in Windows-based software
  • Current CPCS and/or CPMSM eligibility is preferred but not required
