CPA Accounting Principles Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a National Accounting Principles Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters to assurance Partners and professional employees
• Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm policies
• Conduct in-depth research on accounting topics and prepare technical memos on the application of accounting principles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
• 8 plus years of experience in an Audit practice at a large, national, or super-regional accounting firm
• Extensive experience performing technical accounting on complex matters preferred
• Broad and deep understanding of accounting principles with the ability to conduct in-depth research
