Cost Accountant - job 2 of 4

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cost Accountant responsible for all cost accounting functions and analysis of manufacturing variances.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in year-end audit preparations and investigates auditors' questions
• Monitors and reports on direct and indirect production costs and efficiencies
• Develops and maintains standard cost systems for manufactured and subcontractor items

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with knowledge of product costing and variance analysis
• Familiarity with computerized accounting systems, including ERP systems
• Experience with QAD system and F9 is preferred
• Well-organized and self-motivated
