Job Summary

A company is looking for a Copy Editor on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread copy to ensure grammatical, syntax, formatting, and style accuracy
• Perform thorough reviews and comparisons of final copy to reduce in-market errors
• Verify accuracy of brands, products, logos, legal disclaimers, and ensure all marketing collateral is accurate

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in copy editing, proofreading, or related fields, preferably in marketing communications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with Salesforce and Adobe is a plus
• Familiarity with AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, and proofreaders' marks
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management skills
