Controller with Costpoint Expertise

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead core accounting operations in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and project accounting
• Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and oversee the monthly and year-end close processes
• Collaborate with finance and executive leadership on strategic initiatives, financial forecasting, and internal reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on technical accounting and project-based revenue recognition
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint
• Proven experience as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant in a relevant environment
• Expertise in ASC 606, GAAP compliance, and internal controls
