Position Summary Under general supervision of the Total Rewards Manager, the Compensation Specialist supports the implementation, administration and analysis of the organization’s compensation programs. The Compensation Specialist will provide salary quotes, maintain compensation data, and providedata-driven insights to support decision-making processes. This individual will work closely with HR and Business Partners to ensure compensation practices are consistent, equitable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions - Provides salary recommendations/quotes for new hires and current employees transitioning into new positions based on organization policy, pertinent research and the consistent application of criteria
- Partners with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Total Rewards Manager to conduct job analysis and job evaluation processes; reviews job descriptions; determines level, salary ranges and eligibility for differentials
- Ensures job descriptions and positions titles are consistent with job level, exemption status and accurately reflect the work being performed
- Performs job mapping and market pricing for roles at CCH; benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position
- Partners with HRIS and other Data team members to input, update, revise job classifications, job descriptions, salary structures, job levels, and/or changes pertaining to new hires, organizational structure, pay, and positions within applicable HR systems
- Supports the annual COLA cycle by addressing questions, updating documentation and auditing data
- Collaborates with HR team members to respond to compensation-related inquiries and provide guidance on pay practices
- Participates on market surveys, evaluates survey data, and recommends salary ranges, adjustments, and hiring rates
- Performs ad-hoc market research, competitive analysis and benchmarking studies to support business needs
- Generates reports and provide data and analysis including compensation data insights
- Maintains and updates compensation data and records timely while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Documents and maintains compensation administration processes and procedures for internal playbook
- Ensures compliance with all associated legal and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Summary - 3+ years of experience in compensation, including job mapping, job pricing and data analytics
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and other MS products
- Ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to conduct research, analyze information and data and present findings in a concise format
- Demonstrated ability to partner and build collaborative relationships with internal business partners, external vendors, and able to assist in employee issues as they arise
$65,000 - $75,000 a year
