As the Carbon Analyst of a nature-based solutions company committed to developing high-quality voluntary carbon offset projects, this person will be a high energy individual with strong natural resource management experience.
The Carbon Analyst performs spatial and data analyses for forest carbon offset project development. The Analyst’s work will center around inventory data management and carbon quantification, forest growth and yield modeling, carbon accounting, and detailed documentation of all project-related work products. This includes, but is not limited to, processing and analyzing large quantities of field data, analyzing land cover using Arc GIS, utilizing forest growth and yield models such as FVS, managing incoming inventory data, documenting work products, and assisting with project development activities.
