Additional Compensation Details:

• $26-$30 per hour Dependent on Experience and Location of Role
• Potential 90-day performance-based raise
• Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a key part in supporting the development, execution and optimization of marketing strategies across various channels and departments. The marketing coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent message and branding while helping drive engagement, awareness, and increase sales. The marketing coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans. Day to day, he or she may create or coordinate content, update company websites, attend sales meetings, assist with company events, and support all marketing strategies.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional
• Conceptualize and design social graphics, promotional elements, digital communications, print collateral under the direction of the Marketing Director
• Update and manage Charlie’s Produce Online Ordering platform with product photos, banner ads and suggested product tools
• Assist with email marketing campaigns by creating content and designing email templates using platforms like HubSpot or Mailchimp
• Contribute to the development of a social media strategy, help create content and post across all relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
• Update and manage company website(s) with blog posts and graphics representing the brand and seasonal product
• Provide marketing support to the sales teams, other Charlie’s Produce locations and various departments as needed
• Monitor and maintain inventory of printed promotional materials
• Research, analyze and summarize market trends
• Study competitors market behavior and strategies; and keep up-to-date on industry activities and trends
• Coordinate and serve as a representative for Charlie’s Produce at company events; farm tours, grower luncheons, trade shows and more
• Additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree; with a major in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Illustrator), Canva and a willingness to learn new software solutions
• Expertise in multiple social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
• Working knowledge of social media advertising and analytics beneficial
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Adaptability/Flexibility, with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved
• Critical Thinking: Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Preferred Minimum Skills and Experience:

• Photography skills preferred
