Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Trauma Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze the trauma registry database for patient data related to injuries, diagnoses, and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with trauma center designation criteria and assist in quality improvement activities
• Compile and submit statistical reports and registry data for state and national trauma systems

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduated from an accredited program in Health Information Technology
• Completion of relevant coding and trauma registry courses within one year of hire
• Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CSTR, or CAISS
• One year of experience in health information management or trauma registry
• Familiarity with trauma registry/database systems and coding standards
