Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist to support accurate and compliant medical coding processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for behavioral health services using documentation in the NextGen system
  • Conduct coding quality reviews and assist in audit preparation and follow-up using Healthicity software
  • Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure timely claim submission
Required Qualifications
  • Required Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CPC-H (Certified Outpatient Coder)
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation requirements, and compliance guidelines
  • Proficiency in NextGen EHR/PM
  • Experience using Healthicity or other auditing platforms preferred
  • Preferred Certification: CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor) or willingness to pursue within 12 months
