Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Specialist - IP Profee.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex retrospective analyses of medical records to identify coding and billing errors
• Provide technical support and training to internal coding staff on compliance and documentation
• Monitor coding quality and assist in improving coder productivity and accuracy

Required Qualifications and Education

• Active coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA
• 5+ years of coding experience, specifically in Profee, E/M, ER, and IP hospitalist
• 1+ year of auditing experience
• Experience with telecommuting and electronic medical records systems is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
