Certified Coding Policy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Policy Analyst (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and update Coding Policies and edit configurations in the claims editing system
• Respond to provider and member appeals with appropriate coding rationale
• Monitor and implement changes to coding guidelines and regulations from external agencies

Required Qualifications

• Coding certification through AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA (CCS) upon hire
• 5 years of experience in CPT coding from chart extraction with a healthcare provider, insurance company, or managed care company
• 5 years of experience in detailed coding applications and Microsoft Office capabilities
