The Center for AI Safety (CAIS) is a leading research and advocacy organization focused on mitigating societal-scale risks from AI. We address AI’s toughest challenges through technical research, field-building initiatives, and policy engagement, along with our other organization, Center for AI Safety Action Fund (CAISAF).
CAIS is creating a totally different approach to AI risk communications, aiming to make AI existential risk kitchen table conversation on every street in America. The Content Project Manager will help bring the mission of the Center for AI Safety’s Public Engagement team to the general public through content, campaigns, and media that spark awareness and build trust. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with John Sherman, CAIS’s new Director of Public Engagement, as part of a bold, unconventional new approach to AI risk communication. We’re not doing dry policy explainers—we’re building something new: storytelling that breaks through, brands that resonate, and content that makes regular people care. This role is a hybrid of creative production, content strategy, and project management. You'll help produce videos, manage social and podcast workflows, support media appearances, and ensure that content projects move forward on time and on message.
