Senior Product Manager - Professional photography (Greece or Remote)

As we continuously drive for growth and plan to expand our team, we are looking for a highly driven and achievement-orientated Senior Product Manager to be part of our team. 

The Team 

You will be part of Capture One’s Product & Technology Organization and report to the Director of Product Management. Your role will require close collaboration with other Product Managers, UX designers and development teams to ensure a consistent and coherent customer experience. In your day-to-day activities you will partner with one of our engineering team, based in our office in Athens.

As a Senior Product Manager for Studio Photography, you will lead the development of solutions focused on digital asset management, collaboration, and retouching, leveraging the power of generative AI. 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will: 

• Own the Vision and the Product Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for studio photography workflows, aligning with Capture One’s overarching mission to create the most efficient photography workflows in the world. 

• Drive Innovation: Lead the charge in developing innovative solutions not just in generative AI, but also in workflows, DAM, and collaboration tools. Introduce forward-thinking features that transform how photographers, digitechs, and assistants work together, improving efficiency, reliability, and creative potential. 

• Be the advocate for our customers: Be the voice of professional photographers, studios, and digitechs. Gather deep insights through customer research, data analysis, and market trends to ensure solutions meet real-world needs. 

• Collaborate with other teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to deliver solutions that are technically feasible, visually stunning, and user-friendly. You will mature and prioritize ideas and turn them into clear concepts and user stories that are aligned with the company’s vision, strategy and objectives 

• Lead the Backlog: Prioritize features and user stories, ensuring a steady flow of impactful, demoable increments. Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable development tasks.  

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners to facilitate seamless integrations. 

• Measure Impact: Define success metrics for features and initiatives, continuously monitor performance, and iterate based on data and user feedback. 

• Manage existing products and features: you will have the responsibility for several existing products and features such as a mobile app, several online services and integrations with third-party partners and some foundational aspects of Capture One Pro. 

Key Areas of Focus 

• Digital Asset Management (DAM): Enable local and cloud-based solutions that simplify session workflows, improve discoverability, and enhance collaboration for large-scale productions. 

• Collaboration: Develop tools for real-time distribution of work to the relevant photography team members, co-editing and seamless communication among studio teams. Create intuitive workflows that feel natural and frictionless. 

• AI-Powered workflows: Introduce advanced retouching tools leveraging AI and generative AI for e-commerce workflows 

Integration and Ecosystem: Strengthen connections with third-party tools, enterprise storage solutions, and other essential elements of the professional photography ecosystem.   

Who we’re looking for 

• 5+ years as a Product Manager / Program Manager / Product Owner building and shipping scalable commercial products 

• A track record of managing all aspects of a successful product lifecycle with solid knowledge of product management best practices 

• Preferably, you have a passion for photography and an understanding of studio photography workflows, including collaboration and retouching. 

• Solid analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.  

• Experience working on applications that involve desktop software, cloud services and mobile apps 

• Natural leadership and/or stakeholder management skills - you lead by example and motivate and enable others to do their best 

• Exceptional teamwork and commitment to foster a positive and diverse team culture 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
