California Licensed Traffic Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic Engineer who will support the growth of the Transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering design tasks for electrical/ITS traffic projects from conceptual to final design
  • Plan and design traffic signals, signing & striping, and other traffic design elements
  • Mentor junior staff and assist in business development and client relations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program
  • California Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) with exam eligibility within one year
  • 4-12 years of recent experience in the traffic engineering field
  • Engaged in life-long learning to stay updated on contemporary issues
  • Valid California Driver License
