California Licensed Nurse Bill Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nurse Itemized Bill Reviewer (IBR Analyst).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth reviews of medical claims using UB-04 and itemized statements to ensure validity of charges
• Verify itemized charges for reimbursement compliance with client policies and industry standards
• Consult with Senior Analysts on claim review issues and assist in content development and special projects

Required Qualifications

• Active RN, LPN, or LVN license in good standing
• 1+ years of experience in itemized bill review
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing and coding
• Experience with payer policies and national coding guidelines (CPT, ICD-9/10, HCPCS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in remote work environments
