Overview of the Role

• C.A. Carlin is looking for a full-time Retail Operations Representative to service retailers around the Minneapolis, MN area. Prior experience as a sales rep in the CPG industry is preferred. You must be able to lift, bend /stoop for extended periods of time. This is a position where you work independently, follow direction and have excellent communication skills. Reliable transportation, clean driving record, valid driver’s license and to maintain business level auto insurance is required.
• This role will be responsible for selling, merchandising, gaining / maintaining distribution within convenience stores as well as reporting tasks in a reporting system.
• Location: Minneapolis, MN and will cover areas outside of the metro Minneapolis, MN area (within 150 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN) 
• Overnight travel is required for this position. On average there is one night out per month.
• Flexible work days are between the hours of 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM 
• No Weekends. Work is to be completed between Monday and Friday. 

What You’ll Do at C.A. Carlin

• Retail work will entail (but not limited to) cutting new items into stores, adjusting candy sets, working product displays by registers, handling short-dated product with store managers, etc.  
• Must maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores 
• Must adhere to attendance and dress code guidelines 
• Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e., frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds 
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team 

What You Should Bring to the Table

• Local to the Minneapolis, MN metro area to service retailers
• Must have at least 1 year of merchandising experience, preferably with groceries 
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance are required
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must display a positive and professional attitude and appearance
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision 
• Retail background with planogram experience is preferred
• Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Email)
• Must have cell phone, printer and computer with internet accessibility
• May be subject to a background check and drug screening
