Call Center Associate

This position is responsible for receiving all incoming requests and inquiries from internal and external clients and ensuring that all accounts receivable issues are handled, researched and resolved in an accurate and timely manner.

• Field incoming calls from clients internally and externally, including any account inquires.
• Review onboarding of new or returning customers and activate accounts.
• Act as liaison between external and internal clients to ensure that all needs are met
• Provide clients with detailed account information, which may include copies of invoices, statements and detailed reconciliations when appropriate.
• Resolve any client disputes that may include extensive research and rebilling.
• Partner and communicate effectively with internal clients including newsroom, sales, operations and other finance teams to ensure all requests are handled accurately and efficiently.
• Implement contract terms on client accounts, including but not limited to discounts.
• Create and maintain directive notes on client accounts as well as update client information as requested.
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete
• Work as a team member to provide outstanding customer service and support

• Well-rounded knowledge of accounts receivable processes including billing, cash receipts and collections
• Strong math, typing, and computer skill, especially with Microsoft programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
• Previous experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in standard business applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Working knowledge of a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
• BA/BS degree, or international equivalent, and customer service experience preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

• The base salary range for this position is $56K to $62K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time.
