Job Description:

Monster Transmission is seeking a dealership level technician to join our team. This role requires expertise in installing and rebuilding transmissions for Chevy, Dodge, and Ford vehicles, as you will be assisting customers with technical inquiries, and troubleshooting. Candidates with previous general diagnostic experience would be ideal for this role. This position is responsible for performing tech review and assisting the client care team with warranty issues. Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and in providing client care representatives with immediate answers to technical questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers regarding installation, troubleshooting, and performance of remanufactured transmissions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot common transmission issues over the phone or via email.
  • Function as the technical expert for both customers and our client care team.
  • Provide tech review to the client care department, ensuring they're able to resolve warranty issues and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the production and quality assurance teams to resolve customer concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues.
  • Educate customers on proper maintenance and care to extend the lifespan of our products.
  • Identify opportunities to improve products and processes based on customer feedback.
  • Assist with warranty claims and ensure customers receive timely resolutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Dealership level technician experience with domestic vehicles required.
  • At least a year of experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team setting.
  • Strong account management skills, demonstrating an understanding of customer needs and relationship building.
  • Paid Time Off (40 hours after your first year. For every additional year thereafter, you will receive an additional 8 hours, with a maximum of 80 hours after reaching the 6 year mark).
