People Operations Specialist

Bumble is looking for a motivated and proactive People Operations Specialist to join our growing team.

This role will be a key member of the People and Culture department, supporting day-to-day operations for our high-performing global teams! You will be responsible for initiatives related to Compliance, Data Integrity, Employee Service, Global Mobility, HRIS Administration, HR Analytics and Onboarding/Offboarding.  

Additionally, you’ll collaborate with our Global Team to fine-tune our HR business processes and help create a world-class employee service delivery platform!

This role will report to the Global Director of People Operations, who is based in London, UK. 

Candidates should live within a commutable distance to London or Austin as a hybrid working pattern is offered with office attendance of 2 days per week (on average).

• Deliver exceptional service as a case manager for HR Operations driving questions and tickets raised by employees to conclusion. 
• Case manage onboarding including inter-departmental collaboration for new starters from recruitment through to starting and ensuring right to work validation.
• Design, implement and administer HR business processes related to employee data management, benefits and leave administration, relocation services, and reporting.
• Oversee and continuously improve employee onboarding and off-boarding.
• Work closely with the People Tech team to spearhead improvements to our internal filing and employee data management systems.
• Manage HR vendors, including coordinating invoicing and maintaining relationships.
• Ensure accurate and timely administration and upkeep of People systems for performance management, training/development, and HRIS.
• Assist with documentation and updating of employee policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on projects, leading for People Ops, to continuously improve our processes, platforms and employee service.

• 2+ years of experience executing UK HR processes and practices.
• 2+ years in an HR Coordinator or Specialist role, preferably in a progressive, high-growth start-up environment and/or HR certification/degree.
• At least 2 years working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
• Be positive, proactive, and solution-focused.
• Demonstrated ability to act with the highest level of discretion at all times.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Extremely organized and well-versed in project management.
• Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of client service at all times.
• Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be resourceful to get the job done right, and on time.
• Strong background in administrative skills.
