Breakaway is a fast-growing music and entertainment company in search of a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to support the development and execution of all Breakaway Music Festival marketing campaigns and activations.
This role will work across Marketing & Promotional functions, and cross-departmentally, to grow the Breakaway brand and captivate new and diverse audiences.
Responsibilities include supporting the ideation and strategy of relevant marketing campaigns, developing weekly reports, organizing team projects and asset management, staying up-to-date on newest platforms and techniques, and assisting in traditional out-of-home marketing initiatives.

Ultimately turning Breakaway into a content suite that places the brand as a driver of culture, not just a ticket sales mechanism.
The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and will work closely with all members of the marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Support strategy and execution of marketing plans for Breakaway brand and Breakaway Presents, and all national festivals collaborating closely with internal creative, social, and promotional teams
- Maintain marketing calendar and ensure short- and long-term planning is clear with integrated communication to internal team members, ensuring all team members are informed on upcoming initiatives
- Assist in coordination of local market initiatives, including but not limited to digital and out-of-home campaigns, pre-festival events, and brand elevating moments
- Manage and organize festival media folders and assist with pre-festival and onsite media and content capture strategy
- Assist in project managing Creative team’s upcoming deliverables including assigning tasks, providing team updates, outlining emails, and campaign copywriting
- Collect, analyze, and insightfully report campaign and event performances, providing insights and recommendations for future best practices
- Strategically build post-festival regional and national fan surveys, collecting informative data from our target audiences, ultimately analyzing and reporting back on findings
- Perform a range of administrative and support duties for the Marketing Director, VP of Marketing & Media, and surrounding team members

Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional marketing experience preferably in a related field such as music, entertainment, or media
- Knowledge of the music industry, and our Breakaway consumer/fan preferred
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to
demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound - Interpersonal skills – listens to others, works well in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills including written/copy editing and verbal; ability to present ideas
clearly and concisely - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Can prioritize work activities, use time efficiently, and confidently meet deadlines for quick-turn projects
- Adaptability – adapts to change in the work environment, manages competing demands and
handle frequent changes - Dependability – consistently at work when expected, follows instructions, responds to manager’s
instructions - Strong computer skills – including all Microsoft Office software programs and some proficiency
with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred - Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays
