As the Sales Manager - New Business, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales growth by acquiring new customers Blueground’s On Demand division. Your primary objective is to prospect, qualify, and convert leads and prospects into long-lasting partnerships.
This will involve researching your customer’s company/industry to become an expert, create relationships with various stakeholders from daily points of contact to executives, uncover current and future housing on-demand needs with prospects and converted customers, and drive your portfolio towards contract agreements. Sales Managers need to collaborate effectively with operational team members and other leaders within the organization.
Your success will be based on the ability to proactively create opportunities, convert prospects to customers and grow them from there. This role requires a results-oriented, strategic seller with the ability to establish lasting relationships with clients, as well a team player who can successfully orchestrate your clients’ needs to internal team members.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new revenue for the organization by proactively prospecting, qualifying and converting prospects into long lasting customers.
- Develop and implement effective outbound sales strategies to prospect, identify, and engage potential customers.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by consistently identifying and qualifying new leads.
- Customize sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of the organization's products or services to prospective clients.
- Lead negotiations and overcome objections to successfully convert prospects into long-lasting customers.
- Collaborate with the team members to align outbound sales efforts with overall marketing campaigns and messaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in outbound sales techniques to continuously improve performance.
- Identify key decision-makers within your client portfolio, building rapport to create and develop long-lasting relationships.
- Identify and grow opportunities within your portfolio, as well as collaborate with Housing Consultants (HCs) on opportunities to win more business.
- Create and present monthly/quarterly business reviews with clients, visiting client sites or hosting clients to our office.
- Act as a liaison between internal departments and your clients, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our products and services.
- Represent Blueground at client events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
Required Education & Experience:
- 5+ years of outbound sales with a focus on acquiring new business.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Proven track record in outbound sales, with a focus on acquiring new business and driving revenue growth.
- Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships with clients.
- Collaborative spirit and team player mentality, capable of orchestrating client needs across internal teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new opportunities and inspire client retention through proactive efforts.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and ZoomInfo applications.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Experience in construction industry preferred
- Experience in hospitality or relocation a plus
