This role will be located within our Mawson office with the ability for hybrid work. 

Job Description

The Role 

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll manage data analysis and quality assurance to solve business problems, enhance information provision, and ensure reliable reporting. You'll gather requirements, support the BI environment, develop reports and applications using Power BI, and explore AI and machine learning technologies. Proficiency in CBS, CRM, and Lending is essential.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in cross-functional teams as required.
  • Comply with systems development life cycle (SDLC) from initiation through to implementation and maintenance.
  • Prioritise the provision of information and analysis based on business priorities and expectations.
  • Work on strategic and operational projects as required.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify information requirements and produce timely reports in the right format.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, security, quality, and risk management requirements for all information services.
  • Prepare member data lists for various initiatives, including marketing and internal campaigns.
  • Advanced ability to write and develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views.
  • Design and develop reports using report writing software such as Microsoft Reporting Services.
  • Provide relevant, reliable, accurate, and timely information and market research intelligence to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

About You

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with senior management and various business units.
  • Knowledge of CRM and data warehouse systems and data management processes.
  • Successfully driving organisational performance.
  • Ability to draw insights from raw data analysis.
  • Strong leadership and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience with relational databases i.e. Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Previous experience working in banking and financial services, preferably mutual sector
