We are in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Admin Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring seamless operations within a medical office environment. The successful candidate will be adept at various administrative tasks, including data entry, appointment scheduling, records management, prescription refills, and patient insurance verification. Attention to detail, commitment to patient confidentiality, and adherence to HIPAA regulations are paramount for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate internal processes, tasks, and calls to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Conduct routine audits in Practice Fusion and other systems to assess accuracy and compliance.
- Document findings and provide corrective action recommendations.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with leadership to develop action plans.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively to maintain operational efficiency.
- Track and monitor compliance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze performance data and generate reports on key metrics, including total audits completed, employee evaluations, and quality rankings.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights to performance leaders.
- Maintain records of evaluated employees and their performance scores.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Use Slack and Zoom to communicate findings, facilitate discussions, and ensure accountability.
- Work closely with internal teams to drive quality improvements and operational excellence.
- Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or performance monitoring in a healthcare or administrative setting.
- Familiarity with Practice Fusion or similar EHR/EMR systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration tools.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
