The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is at the forefront of proactive candidate sourcing, recruiting, and hiring of talent for Berkadia. The TAP will manage the full lifecycle of corporate-based recruiting, which includes developing close partnerships with hiring managers, creating candidate pipelines for current and future roles, and overseeing the entire recruiting process from requisition intake to candidate hire.

We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will:

 

Recruitment and Sourcing

  • Lead the recruiting process and consult with candidates and hiring managers to drive inclusive, efficient, and effective hiring practices.
  • Source and screen talent through passive and active candidate channels, including postings, social media, networking and Internet research.
  • Own a full requisition load conducting phone screens, managing interviews, scheduling, and extending offers
  • Meets or exceeds recruitment KPIs associated with success of the department and Talent Acquisition team standards

Candidate Assessment and Communication

  • Determine candidate qualifications, including leadership, culture, and technical skills, through well-developed screening methods and interviewing techniques, including the use of behavioral-based interview questions.
  • Prioritize candidate experience by communicating company values, culture, and benefits to candidates, ensuring Berkadia’s employment value proposition is appropriately conveyed.

Collaboration

  • Partner with People Team on hiring needs and strategies to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Coordinate with Total Rewards and People Team on compensation offer recommendations by providing appropriate documentation and insight.
  • Participate in and support projects that enhance recruiting efficiency, contribute to department initiatives, and add value to overall People Team practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of recruitment experience in a similar role (mix of staffing agency & corporate recruitment experience preferred). 
  • Adhere to Berkadia’s policies and exhibit proficiency and understanding of Berkadia’s values and position-specific skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of full cycle recruiting practices and strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media and sourcing tools; previous experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Software (ATS).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team with a demonstrated flexible attitude and open mind.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and ability to proactively manage expectations.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
