Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production and fulfillment warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production and pick-packing work, with hands-on experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), specifically CIMs. The role requires effective leadership across two shifts, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, safety compliance, and meeting production goals.


As the Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing workflows, ensuring timely order fulfillment, optimizing inventory management, and fostering a safe and productive environment for a team of 100 employees. You will report directly to the Location General Manager and collaborate closely with senior leadership to meet operational objectives.


What YOU will do:
  • Supervise Warehouse Operations:
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse functions across both 1st and 2nd shifts, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate inventory management, and meeting production and fulfillment targets.
  • Manage pick, pack, and ship processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.

  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead a diverse team of 100+ employees, ensuring effective delegation, coaching, and motivation.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and performance evaluations for warehouse staff.
  • Resolve employee issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) - CIMs:
  • Ensure the proper use and optimization of the CIMs WMS to track inventory levels, manage orders, and report on production metrics.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of stock levels and the efficient picking and packing processes.
  • Utilize CIMs system data to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.

  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standards.
  • Implement and monitor safety programs to reduce accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions with warehouse staff.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and meets all regulatory requirements.

  • Production & Performance:
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

  • Communication & Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments such as Inventory, Shipping, and Production to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all team members to ensure issues are resolved promptly and the warehouse operates at peak efficiency.


Who YOU are:
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role in a production/fulfillment environment.
  • Hands-on experience with pick/pack operations and warehouse management systems (WMS), specifically CIMs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse best practices, production processes, and safety programs.
  • Previous experience in managing teams of 50+ employees across multiple shifts.

  • Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety programs effectively.


$55,000 - $65,000 a year

Work Environment:
This is a fully in-office position located at our warehouse site.
