Job Description

Position Summary 
The Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for a positive candidate and employee experience. This position is the first contact for many of our new employees and seeks to provide the perfect match between candidate and career path. This role is designed for detail orientated, computer savvy individuals that have a passion for our product and the locations in which we operate. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. 

The budgeted pay range for this position is $24.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
  
HR Support & New Hire Processing
•    Ensure accurate and timely data entry of new hire information, including paperwork, PAFs, and managing new employee files
•    Assist in planning and executing New Employee Orientation across hotel properties
•    Answer employee questions regarding benefits and insurance, and direct them to the appropriate resource
•    Assist with payroll-related paperwork, including Kronos, and serve as a liaison between department managers and the payroll office
•    Monitor and update bulletin boards, manage employee newsletters, and handle employee communications
•    Provide HR office coverage, greet employees and applicants, manage office supplies, and assist with employee events and recognition programs

Talent Acquisition Screening & Interviews
•    Screen candidates for high-volume positions via Microsoft Teams Video Call
•    Assist with creative sourcing of candidates through various channels, including internet, cold calling, networking, referrals, and social networks
•    Review job seeker information in Smart Recruiters (ATS) and maintain candidate records and data in the ATS
•    Ensure regular communication with HR & hiring managers on recruitment progress and feedback loops
•    Conduct employee status verifications
•    Assist with training hiring managers on ATS use and holding them accountable to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
•    Assist in the coordination of job fairs, community events, and maintaining the TA calendar of events
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements 
•    High School Diploma or equivalent required
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
•    1 year experience in a professional environment required 
•    1 year of experience using Applicant Tracking Systems preferred 
•    Professional experience in hospitality recruitment or human resources preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
•    Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google product suites  
•    Knowledge of company policies and procedures 
•    Familiarity with company rules, regulations, and operational standards 
•    Understanding of how to assist people to meet their needs effectively 
•    Basic understanding of hotel industry terminology  
•    Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task and manage time effectively 
•    Ability to do basic problem-solving 
•    Ability to identify straightforward issues and propose simple solutions 
•    Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and candidates 
•    Strong Attention to detail 
•    Ability to notice and address small discrepancies in work, candidate or manager feedback 
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing work at a high standard   
•    Ability to be a team player, working collaboratively with others  
•    Ability to develop strong working relationship with those contacted in the course of work
•    Ability to handle confidential related information and be on a computer and phone the majority of the workday

Additional Information

Work Environment & Physical Demands
•    Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
•    No adverse or hazardous conditions
•    Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
