Communications Operations Specialist

Today, we are advancing programs in Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology. In addition, we collaborate with partners around the world on the development of TransCon-based products for other therapeutic areas and markets. 

We are seeking a passionate Communications Operations Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our global communication teams through process management, communication tool support, graphic design and in general helping to efficiently implement our communication efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams, working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will join colleagues working with both external and internal communication, and report directly to Malene Ford, Associate Director, Internal Communications, who is based in Hellerup. You will be part of the Administration organization, which also includes HR, IT and Site Management, and you will be based in Hellerup.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

Communication Process Support and Optimization:

  • Create and update documentation related to communication tools, workflows, templates, and best practices for easy reference by the team.
  • Provide basic training and support for employees on using select communication platforms and tools.

Content and Asset Coordination:

  • Coordinate the design and distribution of graphics for various communication channels, including the Intranet, social media, websites, presentations, and print materials, in collaboration with design agencies.
  • Maintain shared repositories of communication materials, such as images, templates, and documents, ensuring they are easily accessible to the team and other relevant parties and in alignment with brand guidelines and communication strategies.
  • Manage and update content calendars, ensuring all scheduled communications align with broader company initiatives.

Communication Technology and Tools Support:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of communication tools, including the Intranet, to ensure they function smoothly and are updated as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT, digital, or vendor teams to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Stay informed about new tools and technologies that could improve efficiency or effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably within Communications, Marketing, or a related field – and ideally 5-7 years’ experience of contributing to communication projects in an international environment.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Keen eye for details and structured approach.
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint.

You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude. You thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.  

Travel: 5-10 days per year.
